Carbon Forum delivers education, training, and inspiration. It works with a wide range of clients, using a combination of innovative media and techniques to challenge and motivate them to move forward with climate change mitigation. The team has recently coordinated the national delivery of Eco Vehicles Top Trumps to every Secondary School, a touring climate change cartoon exhibition and a Low Carbon Leadership Workbook for Local Authorities in partnership with the Energy Saving Trust. We need to reach the easy and hard to reach; to ‘normalise' rather than ‘ghettoise' green behaviour. We need to wake people up to climate change and then allow people to move on with that new knowledge and behaviour. Groups work well. Community is key. Climate change is global, but local action will be where the real change occurs. Climate change is not a chore, nor is it abstract. It is real and can be tackled with a fun and playful attitude as well as with focussed, informed activity. This is not someone else's problem, we're all in this together. There is no magic bullet, there never will be and we certainly will not ‘save the planet'. The Carbon Forum Team has some of the answers, and a lot of the expertise.

"Cultural absences are always more difficult to document than cultural outpourings. But the deficiency of a creative response to climate change is increasingly visible" Robert McFarlane, 2005
