Richard Davies

Richard Davies is the founding director of Marches Energy Agency, with more than nine years in his role as Director. Over those nine years, he has expanded the organisation to become the leading climate change and sustainable energy organisation within the West Midlands. Richard originally qualified as a chemical engineer from Nottingham University and spent some ten years researching, designing and constructing process plants both in the UK and the United States before deciding to do something much more positive for the planet! Richard enjoys challenging and inspiring clients and stakeholders alike to understand what their role is in a sustainable future. Richard is a Board Member of Energy West Midlands, as well as the region’s Mitigation Climate Change Ambassador for Sustainability West Midlands. He presents regularly on the theme of “creating the climate for change” to audiences throughout the UK and abroad.
