Light Fantastic at Meole Brace Science College

Carbon Forum took the Light Fantastic to the Science and Maths fun day at Meole Brace Science College. Despite a wealth of attractions including a large rocket, a room of exotic animals and an evocatively smelly chemistry lab, the Light Fantastic had a lot of interest and several people played the giant ‘Carbon Countdown’ game.

Throughout the day, Carbon Forum staff distributed 880 bulbs and 120 powerdowns to parents, delivering lifetime savings of over 126 tonnes of CO2 and more than £50,000.
